Uncharted 2 cleans up at BAFTAs
The BAFTA Game Awards was last night, hosted by Dara O'Briain, and it was a big night for Naughty Dog and Sony, but I don't think Rocksteady had any complaints either.
Here's the rundown of awards and winners:
Action:
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Family and Social:
Wii Sports Resort
Use of Online:
FIFA 10
Use of Audio:
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Handheld:
LittleBigPlanet
GAME Award of 2009 (Voted by the Public):
3rd Place: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
2nd Place: Assassins Creed 2
1st Place: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Strategy:
Empire: Total War
Original Score:
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Multiplayer:
Left 4 Dead 2
Gameplay:
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Sports:
FIFA 10
Story:
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Ones to Watch:
Shrunk!
Artistic Achievement:
Flower
Best Game:
Batman: Arkham Asylum
As you can see it was a good night for Sony, winning 6 awards, and EA winning 3.
There are couple of shockers in there, like FIFA 10 winning the 'Use of Online' award, and also Batman: Arkham Asylum winning 'Best Game'.
I'm not saying Batman shouldn't have won, it was a great game, but Uncharted 2 should really have won if you look at the awards it did win.
Look out for a Feature on my BAFTA experience coming soon.

Good results actually, although I thought Uncharted 2 should of got GOTY and AC2 get the best score - it had fantastic music.
Look forward to reading your piece :D
