If you're still living under a rock and don't yet have internet access, and you love games by EA then you look set to miss out, as every game the publisher brings to release next financial year will have online functionality.
“In fiscal 2011, every one of EA’s releases will have an online component, both downloadable content and online play,” said COO John Schappert, at EA's Q3 investor call.
“This fiscal ‘11 we will continue to introduce new service and product features that benefit unique registered purchasers on PC and console games" CFO Eric Brown stated.
“Our most recent example is the Cerberus content network,” he said, referring to the Mass Effect 2 in-game download system.
