BBC Venturing Into Game Production.

The BBC is reportedly hunting down developers so that some of their shows can be turned into games. Obvious contenders are such shows as Dr. Who and Survivors. Managing Director of Children’s media Neil Ross said the move was set in place to “extract more value” from the programmes. However many are disappointed with BBC concentrating on the child aspect of gaming, and that they could benefit from making games of their adult programmes. It is the early days of this venture, and any sign of these games will not appear for a very long time.
