LA. Noire script contains 22,000 pages!!!

Team Bondi has revealed that the script for the upcoming detective epic is currently around about 22,000 pages.

Revealing in the latest copy of EDGE, studio co-founder, Brendan McNamara, revealed the huge size of the script to all.

“The script’s up to 22,000 pages,” he stated. “That’s two full years of a TV series and probably 12 feature films. It goes a lot of places!”

Just to give you a few more comparisons Stephen King's longest book ever is only 1072 pages long, a typical movie script is 200-220 pages long and more pages then the Harry Potter books and Lord of the rings combined!

Heavy Rain was only 2,000 pages long and was basically an interactive movie, this on the other hand is supposedly a fully fledged game.

LA. Noire is slated for an Q4 release, which ends October 31 2010, according to the latest financial report released by Take-Two. However, bad news is on the horizon, as Take-Two told its investors that it might be pushing back on of its major titles slated for that period. The games which could possibly be postponed (some of them not for the first time) are LA. Noire, Mafia II, Max Payne 3, Sid Meier's Civilization V. If I had to call which one it was, I would probably put my money on Max Payne 3 getting delayed (again).

Keep checking back at Game Attic as we get more news on all these developments.

Edit: Conflicting reports have come out on the length of the script with EDGE and VG247 both stating it as being 22,000 while Game Informer is saying its only 2,000.
