Having previously confirmed that a sequel was in development at Ubi Shanghai, Michael de Plater, leader of the team, has recently announced that the project has been put on hold for reasons we aren't aware of.
“It’s on the backburner,” he said, when asked if work on the game was ongoing.
Ubi's main intention of the sequal was to focus more on offline play. Speaking in an interview some time last July, the creative director said that giving more attention to the single-player is 'straightforward to address and will make the game a lot of fun.'
