Final Fantasy XIII to be PS3 exclusive in Asia, still.

After the multiformat announcement of the next game (i.e. both 360 and PS3), Square Enix later announced that there would be no plans for a 360 launch in its most popular region, Asia.

For reasons we can't fathom out, perhaps it's due to the favouritism of SONY's PS3 over there rather than the 360, despite the 360 now being home to several exclusive and highly acclaimed RPG games, the regions most popular selling game type.

All we have to go on (thanks to asiaone) is the below statement from a Square Enix representative:

“Square Enix has not announced the availability of an Asian version of FFXIII.”
