Resi Gold DLC originally set for launch game


Ever feel like you don't get kicked in the balls quite enough as a gamer? Well good news, Capcom is delivering consistent kicks to the nether regions almost a year after it launched Resident Evil 5.

Not only were they charging extortionate money for a multiplayer mode unlock, but now they've revealed that the content scheduled to be the crowning glory for Resi 5 Gold edition was meant to be released in the standard launch edition almost a year ago.

Producer Yasuhiro Anpo confirmed on his blog that both Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape could have appeared as an in-game extra.

Annoying, huh. The 2 content packs will be coming to Live as DLC soon, and the gold edition is launched early March.
