Its official, unbeknownst to us Infinity Ward has been hiding another game mode in MW2 without telling us shame on them. The new game mode Global Thermonuclear Warfare tasks the player with capturing a nuke located in the center of the map. The Global Thermonuclear Warfare mode had already been known to be in the PC version of the game, however new footage has come to light showing it being played on a 360. Whether this is DLC waiting to be activated or just simply a playlist update that may rollout with the new map pack is yet to be seen. Apparently sources tell us that this has been widely known to exist across the wider Xbox 360 modding community, with Youtube footage of this occurring only coming to light recently.
Expect some reaction from Infinity Ward over the coming days as this comes to the forefront more.
