Today Call Of Duty: Vietnam was confirmed (via CVG) this verifies consistent rumours that had been ongoing for months, stating that it was going to be set in a Cold War-Era Vietnam. The Santa Monica based studio known as Treyarch, is behind the development of this title. Treyarch is well known for being one of the two studios used by Activision for the Call of Duty series, the other being its big brother Infinity Ward. Treyarch is also known for producing Call of Duty 3 and CoD:WaW as well as Quantum of Solace and the Wii version of Modern Warfare Reflex. CoD: Vietnam has been scheduled to be released in November as is the norm with most CoD games nowadays to tie in with the Christmas period. Expect further updates in the upcoming months as we get closer to the release date.
